How do I do the test?

The Clearblue Pregnancy Test with Colour Change Tip is quick and easy to use, producing an accurate result in just 2 minutes and now gives you the option to test up to 4 days early.
You can test directly in your urine, or in a sample of your urine in a clean, dry container.
Simply remove the cap and hold the Colour Change Tip pointing downwards in your urine stream, or in your collected urine sample, for 5 seconds only. The Colour Change Tip will quickly turn pink to show that urine is being absorbed.
The test itself confirms that it has worked - a blue line appears in the Control Window.
After 2 minutes you can read your result in the Result Window.
A blue '+' in the result window means 'Pregnant'.
A blue '-' in the result window means 'Not Pregnant'.
How does it work?
The Clearblue Pregnancy Test with Colour Change Tip works in the same way as the tests used in many leading hospital laboratories – by detecting the presence of a hormone that the body starts to produce about a week after conception. The hormone is called human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) and it can be detected in urine.
