Industry-Leading Accuracy
In comparative clinical evaluations against leading EIA and CMIA laboratory assays, this kit demonstrated a 99.9% overall accuracy rate.
| Metric | Performance | 95% Confidence Interval |
| Relative Sensitivity | 99.8% | 99.0% – >99.9% |
| Relative Specificity | 100% | 99.8% – 100% |
| Overall Accuracy | 99.9% | — |
Validated Performance: Extensively tested across HIV-1/HIV-2 subtypes, blood donor samples, and clinical specimens. The assay shows no cross-reactivity with common interfering substances or other markers such as Hepatitis, Syphilis, EBV, or CMV.
How to Use & Interpret
This membrane-based chromatographic immunoassay uses recombinant HIV antigens to capture specific antibodies. A coloured line at the Control (C) position ensures the test is functional.
-
Positive: Two coloured lines appear (C and T).
-
Negative: Only one coloured line appears at the Control (C) position.
-
Invalid: No line appears at the Control (C) position.
Note: All reactive results should be interpreted alongside clinical findings and followed by confirmatory testing.
